For the first time since coming on board last summer, New Orleans Hornets Coach Monty Williams will have to fill a vacancy on his staff after lead assistant Mike Malone’s departure Tuesday. Through a text message, Malone said he joined the Golden State Warriors as their top assistant on newly hired Mark Jackson’s staff.
