Its been a rocky summer for the Nuggets. The team abruptly dumped two of its top executivesMark Warkentein and Rex Chapmanin early August, and has been unable to secure star forward Carmelo Anthony to a contract extension despite a maximum offer, with Anthony reportedly seeking to be traded.
